Screenwriting

Finalist in the Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting competition.

Qualifier in the British Short Screenplay competition.

My entry for the CBBC New Writers contest got through to the second reading by the Writersroom team.

I have written for a comedy web series, Mr Vista. Three of my episodes were filmed in July this year. Read what Bafta-nominated scriptwriter and writer/director/producer of the Mr Vista web series had to say about my writing on my projects page.

I have had comedy radio sketches broadcast on THE UNPROFESSIONALS on Nerve FM!

I have collaborated with other screenwriters on numerous screenwriting projects. The most successful of these has been the "Multivalence" series of films, conceived by the producer Alex Cameron. The first feature film in the series, Michael's Resignation, for which I wrote script notes, is being filmed this year. I have also written a high percentage of the fourth feature in the series, Forsaking Grace.

Script Reading/Development

I have attended the Bang2write scriptreading course, during which I learnt how to write feedback reports to professional standard. I completed coursework which received high praise from the tutor.

I am experienced in critiquing screenplays and in helping others develop their screenplays having helped many screenwriters in the past year.

Publishing

In 2007 I managed the production of Canterbury Christ Church's end of year Fine Art exhibition catalogue. As well as fund-raising, money-management, delegation and correspondance with staff, students and a photographer, I designed the front cover/layout and proof-read/edited all written entries to ensure professional standards.

Writing for Websites

I have experience in helping business' express themselves in a professional manner. Examples of this include Folkestone and Walmer Tiles, Keepsake Baby Artwork and the House of Cards website, for which I have also written articles and product descriptions.

I have also contributed news and feature articles to websites such as This is Dunstable.
